17 Months Max

His vocabulary is expanding fast. Besides mastering things that I wrote last month, he can say these things that I type in bold:
"Toto" = big brother
"Enak" = delicious
"Cici" = big sister
"Help"
"Aduh" = Ouch
"Hug"

When we ask:
"Mama namanya" (= mommy name is...): "Gigi" ( =Kiki)
"Papa namanya" (= daddy name is...): "Daddy" (It's too hard to say Chris :P)


Sing more songs:
- The ants go marching one by one Hoorah... hoorah...
- Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tell me so, ... Yes Jesus loves me, .....
- Go tell it on the mountain

When most one year old do not have chores, Max has plenty, which he does joyfully:
- Help/ follow/ copy mommy & daddy vacuum, sweep, & mop the floor;
- Get the clothes in and out the drier;
- Get the dry clothes from clothesline;
- Put things back to its place;
- Put the milk jar back to the fridge after one of us poured the milk to his bottle (he'll be very upset when I forget and do it myself);
- Help throwing junk mails in the recycle bin;
- Help carrying little stuff such as: keys, his own lunch box, bottle, mail, small bag, etc

Max loves to:
- Eat on his own using both of his hands.
- Climb up and down the dining chair on his own; from there he then climb up to the dining table. Papa has to make sure he doesn't leave his precious chili on the table.
- "Read" books. Especially those with picture of real (not the cartoon) duck, dog, or fish
- Scribble using pen & paper or doodle pro
- Watch mommy cook - this is his most favorite thing to do is. And mommy is even more motivated to cook ever since he can say the word: "Enak" = delicious. :)

We're rejoicing, humbled, and grateful for such a precious gift that God entrusted for us to care for. Thank you, Lord!
