Hanging Book Display

I have been wanting to get this Melissa & Doug Easel for Max but the size doesn't really work with our small place plus Chris doesn't like the chalkboard option.  We both agreed this Ikea's board works better for our space plus it cheaper too. :)

Since the day Chris put the board up not a single day passed by without our little artist drawing/ scribbling on the board:

I remember reading a tutorial on making a hanging book display at  Penny Carnival one day; I thought it would be a great addition for the space below the board

My handy husband agreed to work on the hard part: installing the double curtain rod brackets (with Max's help of course) so all I have to do was to sew the fabric part:

I sew two little pockets inside: one for markers and another one for eraser:

    Of course not, auntie Vanini. Mommy was the one who drew them itu aza nyonto gambar di buku :)
