It's been 9 years since we said, "I do".
We don't have a perfect marriage and we both drive each other crazy sometimes but one thing that I'm forever grateful of our relationship is the fact that we share common core values: we believe in God and His Words; we want to raise children who love Him, we want to grow in our faith and character; we want to be good managers of the time, money, and resources that He has entrusted to us, and because of that we got to enjoy the joy and peace from working together toward the same goals.
You like to plan things; I like to be flexible.
You like to listen to books, I likes to read books
You gets things done; I like to procrastinate
You are a morning person; I'm not
You are a morning person; I'm not
You are a neat-freak; I am a clean-freak
You likes to shop; I like to donate things.
You likes to make the most of our vacation by exploring new places from dawn to night while my idea of vacation is to relax, read, and sleep.
You are a light sleeper who wakes up when the baby cry, while I wakes up when you hand the baby to me to be nursed
You are good at any sport except those that require coordination such as dancing while dancing is the only spot that I do.
You are the “Let’s go outdoor!” while I am the “but it's cold outside, the kids may caught a cold." type.
With that said, I agree wholeheartedly with Ruth Bell Graham's words, “If two people agree on everything, one of them is unnecessary.” Billy Graham added, "The sooner we accept that as a fact of life, the better we will be able to adjust to each other and enjoy togetherness."
You are the love of my life; God's answer to my prayers; the one who makes me laugh and laugh at my jokes. :)
You are God's perfect choice for me, and I'm honored that God chose me to be his.
Happy Anniversary my love!
