I'll write more on what I learned last weekend later but now I shout THANK YOU to my man. This man fears the Lord, love his family, and walks the talk. Words can't express how grateful I am to be his wife. When I asked him earlier this year whether he thinks I should go. His answered was, "Let's figure out way to make it happen."
With his blessing and the help of our dear friends: Annie, Fonda, Yeye, & Jen, who joyfully babysit our kiddos, I went and be blessed. Thank you sisters!!!
This year, Chris and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary. We have our ups and downs and we're so different in many ways but with God's help we have a fun and loving marriage. Prayerfully, we will continue to grow in our faith, love and respect to one another.
Earlier this year, I sat down, pray and wrote down my goals for this year. One of them are my marriage goals.
1. Make daily couple time! Now that Max no longer take a nap and Wes can sleep through the night we finally have couple time (when we can talk without being interrupted) either before bed time or in the morning.
2. Read at least 3 marriage books: For Women Only, Proverbs 31 Woman, Intimate Issues
3. Go through 30 days husband encouragement challenge:
4. Go thorough Mark driscoll's Real Marriage messages
5. Go to H_____ to celebrate God's faithfulness, grace, and mercy to us. Woohoo! :)
The verse that God gave me in this area was Ephesians 4:2 " Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
