Just want to share three Children Bible for Toddler/ Preschoolers and Kindergarten-er that we used and love:
For very young: Toddler/ Preschooler:
1. The Beginner's Bible
A dear friend gave Max this Bible. We read this to Max since he was little
the inside:
After going through the Bible several times, we decided to move on to the one below when he was about three years old:
2. The Story for Little Ones
The first few months of Wes' life was the busiest season of my life. I barely get enough sleep and time alone but God often used the words and story on this Bible to minister to my weary soul. I remember times when I was in tears and encouraged while reading the stories to Max while nursing Wes at the same time {I apologize if it is too much information}
the inside:
Now that my oldest is in Kindergarten, he can handle more words and less picture and we LOVE this one: Children's Favorite Bible Stories
the inside:
An example of one daily reading: we're going through the story of Hannah on 1 Samuel 1:9-20 then at the bottom of the page there is a prayer:
"Thank you, Lord, for always listening o my prayers. Help me to trust You and to remember that it is for my own good that sometimes you say yes, sometimes you say no, and sometimes you say not yet. In Jesus' name. Amen."
and a quote
