A few months ago, a family friend invited us for a family biking trip at Monterey. We ended up arrive one hour early so we looked at our GPS and decided to explore a nearby beach: Marina State Beach
We got to hike up sand dunes in order to reach the beach:

then we got a call that our friends were almost there so we quickly hiked down to the parking lot
and headed to the place where we start our seven miles biking at Monterey Bay Coastal Trail.
Beautiful view along the way that forced us stop to inhale the beauty:
