A few years ago, I learned how to make rice heat pads to warm up my feet during cold nights. Since then, my boys and I use them every.single.day during cold winter months. I then started making these as gifts to friends and family. Some of them asked if I would sell it so they can have more than one.
Inspired by a book written by TOMS' founder: Start Something that Matters, Cherished Goods was born.
Now that my boys are a little bit older, more independent, and can help out. I thought it’s time to start creating and giving.
My goal is to create useful, practical, and lovely cherished goods that bring smile and make a difference in people life starting with these microwavable rice heating pads.
Each one is made with 100% soft cotton flannel fabric and filled with rice, lavender flowers, and eucalyptus essential oil.
PS: During the month of December with each item you purchase, you are also providing a warm meal for homeless men, women, or children in our local community.
All items are shipped priority mail, which takes on average 3-4 business days to arrive.
