We are still here and we are fine. Thank you for the e-mails, messages, and phone calls. A lot has happened since last post. Chris' dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in December. As soon as we sold our condo, Chris flew to Indonesia and his dad passed away one day after he arrived.
Grandpa got chance to hear the Good News of Salvation and accepted Christ. God is so good and His timing is perfect. We look forward for the day when we meet him in Heaven.
Meanwhile, the kids and I are learning to manage life without daddy for two weeks.
We booked a tour to Ano Nuevo months earlier. Days before, we had storm in our area and Max and I had not been feeling well. I asked Max if we should cancel the trip and he said, "No," because he had been looking forward for the trip with his buddies. So off we went....
2.5 hours driving, 3 hours hiking with 2 kiddos in tow, soaking up God's beautiful creations so so worth it.
It was supposed to be raining today but the weather turned out to be sunny 70+ degree Fahrenheit.
God must have known how much our soul need this.
Wesley did the 3 miles hike all on his own. Thankful for friends who walk with us a long the way. No wonder Solomon wrote, "Two is better than one, ... if either of them falls down, one can help the other up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Thankfully, two weeks have passed and my Valentine will be back soon.
I didn't get chance to get a Valentine card so let me write it down here. :)
