The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

Copy and paste this from my IG and FB so we won't forget the lesson:
You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.“ Matthew 5:3 The Message
A dear friend of ours lost his house to fire about two years ago in Jakarta. When he returned to visit us last month, he shared how God is merciful and faithful: no one got hurt, and the whole family was safe and sound. His Bible is the only thing he owns that survives the fire!
Yet through it all, they chose to trust and give God thanks. Then he shared how God took care of every single thing they needed from food, emergency shelter, clothes, and even underwear. 😅
He also shared an important message from his pastor:
His sharing reminded me of another dear friend sharing when she went through her battle with cancer. God provides and opens the door from visas for her parents, doctors, and even a satin pillowcase, which she didn't know she needed.
When my mom was fighting cancer until she passed, we too experienced God’s loving kindness and how He opened closed doors as we trust in Him: from providing visas during the worldwide cov*d lockdown, plane tickets, food, lodging, etc…
Psalm 23:1 is true, “The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”
Praying that we all “may be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.” Ephesians 3:18 TL
